We were shocked at how well Vista Ultimate ran on the 1.6GHz MacBook Air. It was snappy and responsive, unlike most ultraportables we've tested and reviewed. We installed the 64 bit edition of Vista on the 1.8GHz SSD and were likewise pleased.
